Excluding Plant section periods of hire less than 1 week
(5 Days) are calculated as follows:
1 Day = 50% of the weekly rate
2 Days = 75% of the weekly rate
3 Days = 85% of the weekly rate
4 Days = 90% of the weekly rate
5 Days = weekly rate.
Periods of
hire over 1 week (5 days) are calculated as follows:
Divide the weekly rate by 5 and multiply by the number of
working days hired (i.e. Monday to Friday). For
example for a machine hired for one month from 1st July to
31st July inclusive - costing £100 per week the
calculation would be (100 ÷ 5) × 22 = £440
½ days or
minimum hire periods are charged only when suitable and at
the owners discretion and are calculated at 40% of the
weekly rate
All prices
are subject to vat at the prevailing rate.
All equipment hired is
subject to the Hire Association Europe (HAE) 'general
conditions for hiring equipment' which is printed on our
hire contracts. A copy can be supplied on request.
The hirer is responsible
for all items of equipment from the time they leave our
premises when collected or when received from our delivery
vehicles; including theft, breakage, damage, checking oil
and keeping clean and should ensure that their insurance
cover is adequate, as lost, stolen, broken or damaged
equipment will be charged for |
